Welcome to my blog albout my beer brewing experiences.
So far I have brewed two batches of beer. Both being that of the Kolsch variety.
They have been both a great success in my house. The first batch was bottled and aged for three-four weeks (that alot of beer to drink to keep it in the three week mark). The second batch was keeged in a corny keg and i retrofitted a kegerator to tap from that keg.
In addition to brewing the beer, i also grow the Hopfen. I have a few hop plants, they are new and i have gotten a pretty good amount of hops from one of the plants.
I have 2 cascade, 2 hallertau, 1 Mt Hoos, and 1 Tetnanger.
If you haven't figured it out yet, I like German stuff. Me being a German myself feel a right to be able to brew beer and digest the culture.
I plan on brewing more and uploading pictures of the brew to this site.
